O mais ambicioso percurso começou frente ao mar, percorrendo um grande arco que me conduziria ao Teatro Arenal, para a estréia da ópera Hatuey, de Elise Thoron e Frank London, motivo primeiro de minha viagem à Cuba. A desconcertante sequência de situações urbanas foi balizada por marcações a giz que elencou uma série de menires, como uma enorme relógio urbano cujos ponteiros conduzem à entrada secundária do cemitério, o lado reverso da eternidade.
/ THE FIRE CIRCLE 5th and 10th March, 18 kilometers. The most ambitious course started at seaside, traversing a large arch that would lead me to the Arenal Theater, for the premiere of the opera Hatuey, by Elise Thoron and Frank London, the motivation for my trip to Cuba. The baffling sequence of urban situations was marked by chalk numbering and a selection of a serie of 24 menhirs, like a huge urban clock whose hands lead to the secondary entrance of the cemetery, the reverse side of eternity. /
