DIA #1

/ Day 1, São Miguel to São Mateus: Contrary to the indications of menhirs found along the way, we made delicate excavations between the church of the Jesuits and the headquarters of East 1 socilal housing movement, two ways of relating to territory separated by space and time. /

DIA #2

/ Day 2, São Mateus a Santo André: What defines the traveler's luggage? We were confronted with this relation of weight and lightness, of real needs, affections, attachments and detachments. We travel more together and more freed. /

PAUSA # 1

wrong you are if you think you choose the moment of pause. We are chosen by landscapes, events and situations, which attract us in an irresistible or inescapable way, such as the street of childhood, the forgotten bottle, the loaded cloud. The pause is for walking what silence is for music, preparing us for the grave or sharp note that is approaching the horizon. /

DIA #3

SANTO ANDRÉ A DEMARCHI

/ Day 3, Santo André to Demarchi: From the first to the last sun rays, walking slowly under the light-color that transformed space at every step. A slow prelude to the vast waters, ways, facades that await us. /

DIA #4

DEMARCHI A ILHA DO BORORÉ

/ Day 4, Demarchi to Bororé Island: Transitions intensify and the city gradually fades. Different ways of relating to water, which is imperative. The cinematographic and intangible look from the Rodoanel, the almost tactile proximity of the raft. /

DIA #5

ILHA DO BORORÉ A PEDREIRA
O corpo começa a entender as distâncias, esforços e dinâmicas.

/ Day 5, Bororé Island to Pedreira: The body begins to understand the distances, efforts and dynamics. Two ends of the dam, on one side the made, on the other the cause. /

DIA #6

PEDREIRA A CAMPO LIMPO

/ Day 6, Pedreira ao Campo Limpo: We said goodbye to the river city with surreal visuals, structures and situations that crossed new paths with old ones. The mountain between the two buried rivers seems an insurmountable barrier, but the city is generous with those who cross its gates delicately. /

DIA #7

CAMPO LIMPO A COTIA

/ Day 7, Campo Limpo to Cotia: Road junctions smash the landscape and open space for paths in which architecture mimics the colors of nature. How many meters does a retreat? /

PAUSA#2:

COTIA

/ Pause 2, Cotia: After a week of intense walks we arrived at the western end of the route. A day of rest, logistical reorganization, revision of plans in a symbolic place where many other routes have already crossed. /

DIA #8

COTIA A OSASCO

/ Day 8, Cotia to Osasco: We face the hottest day of the year crossing a sequence of streams that border the municipalities of Barueri, Jandira, Carapicuíba. Craggy slopes sometimes formed fragmented walls, sometimes opening to clippings in the landscape. Jaraguá Mountain watched us in the distance, impassive under clouds of dust and soot, as in a Baudelaire's poem. /

DIA #9

/ Day 9, Osasco to Horto: Followed step by step by Jaraguá mountain, who presented himself under various lenses throughout the day, we crossed complex road systems that contrasted with the life tranquility of the changing neighborhoods. /

DIA #10

HORTO A GUARULHOS

/ Day 10, Horto a Guarulhos: We leave behind the cold breeze that the forest emanates, after unexpected conversations about incarceration and organic farming. The Cantareira mountains were mirrored in ranges of cloud muntains. A celestial plane route indicated a labyrinth in a straight line, which did not reflect the alleys, streams, and slopes we passed through. /

DIA #11

GUARULHOS A CIDADE SERÓDIO

/ Day 11, Guarulhos to Cidade Seródio: Among deviations to the yellow, devastated lands, burned fields and flat aerial routes, the city presents itself as an inventory of recoded situations.Under a starry sky clipping, a procession of acrobats performed juggling and discontinuous choreography. /

DIA #12

/ Day 12, Cidade Seródio a São Miguel Paulista: The last crossings, something simple. Interdicted highways, rivers and railroads lead us to the beginning of our final destination. Fourteen days and more than two hundred kilometers later and we still do not know where these innumerable gates are going. Nor have we been able to decipher this succession of menhirs redrawing the landscape. Meanwhile, we learn a little about this city made up of people and we had the privilege of meeting someones who believe in the construction of a city that belongs to each and everyone. /
